Mixed Reality & Biosensors for Preoperative Anxiety
Mixcare is a mixed reality experience that helps patients manage anxiety before surgery while remaining connected to their real surroundings. Non-invasive sensors capture heart rate and breathing in real time, represented through an emotional avatar that supports guided relaxation. A clinical pilot at La Fe University and Polytechnic Hospital evaluates its comfort, effectiveness, and potential integration into preoperative care.
